Cross Tape is made of crossing 3-4 lines of non-elastic fabric tape with a specific direction. The Medical Taping Concept [MTC] includes as already explained in previous articles, different, coming from Japan, Korea, Germany and the Netherlands taping concepts. The MTC is used in muscular problems, injuries to the ligaments and tendons, as well as disorders of the lymphatic system.
According to the basic idea of raditional Chinese acupuncture, energy flows through our body, 2mm lying under our skin, in a railway system called meridians, in a continuous cycle. Scars, spinal problems or other illnesses can lead to disturbances in the "energy flow" and trigger an energy storage. The Meridian Taping takes effect on this power system.
